Kenny Hill
Founder & Head Coach
ABOUT KENNY
Kenny Hill’s boxing journey began at the age of seven years old, before becoming a three-time junior Olympic champion, three-time Silver Glove champion, and a Golden Glove champion. Not only a fighter himself, Kenny has gone on to become a boxing coach, training UFC fighters, professional boxers, and amateur boxers.
Hill has been seasoned with over ten years of industry experience within different arenas of the sport. A certification from Rock Steady Boxing Foundation has rendered him proficient in the teaching of boxing techniques to those battling Parkinsons disease and a seven year career as the director of boxing from 2006-2013 at downtown Denver’s YMCA contributed to his multi-faceted career path. The years 2014-2016 saw Hill working for the esteemed Denver Athletic Club as the boxing director and Member Experience Manager.
Kenny Hill has since opened multiple successful gyms and currently operates Movement By TOB. A nonprofit company, Movement by TOB aims to help individuals with Parkinsons Disease reduce their symptoms through boxing training. A cast of credible trainers employed by Hill help to coach these classes in an accessible and safe environment. An overall passion for boxing and fitness propels Hill towards the impending growth of Movement by TOB.

Jorge Valencia
General Manager
ABOUT JORGE
I have been boxing since I was 15 years old. I was a member of the All-Marine Boxing Team and trained alongside champions like Jamel Herring. The discipline, the health factor, and of course learning how to defend yourself. I love seeing people progress in this sport, whether as a hobby or they are looking to fight. I love the expression people have on their faces when they have learned to put punches and movement together. I love the fact that it is technique focused. We really focus on teaching skills while taking away the intimidation and changing the perception they have of a “boxing gym” (from previous experience).

ABOUT CATIE
I first came to Colorado at the age of 10 when my family moved here from Virginia. I grew up in Colorado Springs and eagerly moved myself to Denver for a more creative and urban lifestyle. I began boxing because of a mysterious and unrelenting gut feeling. Something in me knew I had to do it! I’ve always been active, but never had any boxing experience. It was important to me to find a gym that could train people in the technical, sport aspect of boxing and that’s how I ended up at TOB. I regularly attend classes and private trainings and continue to be excited about progressing in the sport. With boxing, I love that input always matches output. I like its high intensity, artistic nature, and the way it challenges my mind. I think it’s incredibly cool to see someone push past physical barriers and force themselves out of their normal comfort zone with boxing. The magic always happens outside of our comfort zones. At TOB, I enjoy the authenticity of the gym, the camaraderie of the members and coaches, and the dedication to boxing fundamentals.
